June 4-5: Space remains for Native American institute

NASAI-logoPULLMAN, Wash. – More than 150 people representing institutions from 25 states have registered for the Native American Student Advocacy Institute (NASAI) to be held on Washington State University’s Pullman campus June 4-5.

It’s not too late to register for NASAI, an annual national conference focused on the academic success of Native American students. Full-conference and one-day rates are still available.

“Don’t miss this opportunity to gain valuable information and share best practices with fellow educators who are interested in advancing American Indian, Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian student college readiness, participation and success,” said Chio Flores, NASAI organizer and WSU assistant dean of students.

NASAI is sponsored by the College Board, a national nonprofit organization devoted to connecting students to college success and opportunity. Since WSU is a member institution, WSU staff, faculty and students qualify for a reduced rate. Registration details, session and other conference information can be found at http://nasai.collegeboard.org/.
