Media advisory: Health clinic groundbreaking May 6

SPOKANE, Wash. – A groundbreaking for the University District Health Clinic will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 6, east of the Washington State University Spokane Bookie at 412 E. Spokane Falls Blvd. Construction will be completed in the next year.

The primary care community clinic will house Spokane medical residency programs sponsored by the Spokane Teaching Health Consortium. WSU and Eastern Washington University students will work with medical residents in interprofessional care teams, a model that is uncommon throughout the country.
