Research winners listed, including new international category

WileyPULLMAN, Wash. – Graduate, professional and undergraduate students recently showcased their academic accomplishments – including a new international category – at the annual Wiley Research Exposition at Washington State University.

The new International Research and Cross-Cultural Collaborations category highlights cross-cultural collaborations and coauthorships of research with a global impact.

Those earning first place were awarded a $1,000 scholarship for oral presentations or $800 for a poster presentation. Second place earned a $500 scholarship for oral presentations and $400 for posters.

The exposition is hosted by the WSU Graduate and Professional Student Association and is cosponsored by the Office of International Programs and the Associated Students of WSU.

The event has been held for more than 20 years and was renamed in 1997 in honor of William R. Wiley. He earned his doctorate at WSU, did research at Pacific
Northwest National Laboratory and served as president of the WSU regents.
