Nov. 7: Opening reception for downtown storefront art

PULLMAN, Wash. – Artists are filling vacant downtown storefronts with their works this week and the public is invited to an opening reception at the spaces 7-9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7. The exhibits will be displayed through Dec. 12.

Working with the community to reimagine public spaces is the goal of the Pullman Storefront Project, which is organized by Washington State University Student Involvement and the Pullman Arts Commission.

Street performers will entertain in front of the art installations Friday.

Volunteers with the WSU Center for Civic Engagement prepared the sites for the artwork during Make a Difference Day Oct. 25.
