Oct. 30: Woodwinds star in faculty benefit concert

ClarinetPULLMAN, Wash. – A woodwind duo and trio concert in the Faculty Artist Series will be at 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, in Bryan Hall at Washington State University.

Proceeds from the series benefit the School of Music scholarship fund.

Tickets will be for sale in the lobby 30 minutes before the concert. They are free to WSU students with ID. The cost is $10 general admission and $5 for non-WSU students and those age 60+.

“Folie a deux, Menage a trois” will feature flutist Ann Marie Yasintsky, oboist Keri MCCarthy, clarinetists Shawn Copeland and Shannon Scott, bassoonists Ryan Hare and Javier Rodriquez, and pianist Karen Savage.

The repertoire will range from Debussy’s “Petite Suite” to Malcolm Arnold’s “Divertimento.”
