Hong Kong demonstrationPULLMAN, Wash. – Ongoing pro-democracy demonstrations will be discussed in “Hong Kong: Behind the Protests and Beyond” at noon Tuesday, Oct. 14, in Kimbrough Hall 101 at Washington State University.

Alejandro Reyes, visiting professor at the University of Hong Kong, will consider the players and their motivations, Hong Kong’s relationship with mainland China and the situation going forward.

A visiting professor in Hong Kong since 2007, Reyes is a senior advisor to the U.S.-Asia Institute in Washington, D.C. and has been an editorial consultant to the World Economic Forum in Geneva since 1997.
