health-expo-logo-250PULLMAN, Wash. – Representatives will talk with students and others interested in health careers at the free, public Health Careers EXPO 4-6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 13, in the CUB junior ballroom at Washington State University. Refreshments will be available.

Alumnus and former WSU chemistry instructor Saul Valencia, a Tri-Cities family practice physician, will give the keynote speech.

“As a first-generation student and a Cougar alumnus, Dr. Valencia has a compelling story and a valuable message to share with students interested in pursuing health related careers,” said J. Manuel Acevedo, director of WSU’s Office of Multicultural Student Services and expo planning committee member.

Following the speech will be a panel discussion with health professionals, then breakout sessions.
