PULLMAN, Wash. – Finnish photography that examines place as both an ideal and a reality will be on exhibit 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday, Oct. 1-31, at Gallery II in the fine arts building at Washington State University.

“A Sense of Place: Contemporary Finnish Photography” will explore place through a diversity of artistic approaches in the medium. Featured artists will be Ilkka Halso; Marja Pirila; Laura Konttinen; Terhi Asumaniemi and Petri Nuutinen.
