Aug. 16-24: More events, structure welcome students

WOWPULLMAN, Wash. – Twice as many events will welcome new students Aug. 16-24, but activities will be structured to alleviate overlapping and competition, promote unity and help students connect to Washington State University.

The schedule will help students become familiar with WSU via a progression of events: from living communities to academics, then social identity and connection and, finally, community engagement.

New students will do more activities together and a Sunday, Aug. 24, event will specifically welcome transfer students.
