PULLMAN, Wash. – A memorial service for Larry Merle Jackson, 60, truck driver 1 at WSU university stores, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 28, in the chapel of Kimball Funeral Home, Pullman. He passed away at his Pullman home on Sunday July 20, 2014.
He was born Dec. 17, 1953, in Goldendale, Wash., and graduated from Goldendale High in 1972. He attended WSU Pullman as a business major 1972-75. He started working as a time slip employee at WSU in 1973.
He took a full-time position in WSU food service as a warehouse worker 1 in 1977. In 1987 he became a driver/warehouse worker and in 1998 he transferred to the facilities operations storeroom. In 2006 he became a truck driver 1 for the storeroom and in 2012 a truck driver 1 for university stores.
