PULLMAN, Wash. – The Big Ten Senior Awards will be presented at 6 p.m. at the Graduate BBQ Bash beginning at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 8, at the Lewis Alumni Centre at Washington State University. The event is free to WSU graduating seniors and $5 for the public.
The annual awards recognize the top five men and women – one of each in five categories – in the graduating class. The awards are presented by the WSU Student Alumni Ambassadors and Alumni Association. Winners are chosen by a committee made up of WSU students, faculty and staff.
The 2014 Big Ten Seniors, by category, are:
Academics: Fiorella Grandi and Gordon Stumpo
Athletics: Elise Jones and Andrew Furney
Campus Involvement: Lindsey Elhart and Tristan Hanon
Community Service: Erin Ghigleri and Jesse Naylor
Visual and Performing Arts: Sonja Larson and Chelsea Gilpin
