March 28: Undergraduate research at afternoon SURCA

SURCA-logo-180PULLMAN, Wash.— The work and results of research conducted by more than 150 Washington State University undergraduates will be featured Friday, March 28, at the third annual Showcase for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities (SURCA).

“This is the largest SURCA we have hosted,” said Shelley Pressley, director of undergraduate research. “Topics from disciplines across the university hold promise for a fascinating and diverse set of student presentations.”

Two sessions of oral presentations will be 12:15-2 p.m. and 2:15-4 p.m. in the CUB junior ballroom. Students will be at their posters 3:45-5 p.m. in the CUB senior ballroom. The awards ceremony will begin at 5 p.m.

Awards are sponsored by the Boeing Company and the WSU Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President.

SURCA is part of WSU Showcase.
