April 4: Top business executives share information technology

PULLMAN, Wash. – Students will learn about the increasingly digital nature of business and new edge technologies to achieve success at the annual Business Technology Symposium at 1 p.m. Friday, April 4, in the CUB Auditorium at Washington State University.

11X17 POSTER V 4The public and students in all majors are invited to learn about delivering content and behind-the-scenes technology. There will be discussion about the challenges of being a senior technology executive with a high level of corporate responsibility.

Presenters will include Jason Waram, ESPN vice president, Personalized Platforms; Andy Reinland, executive vice president and chief financial officer of F5 Networks; and Chip Suttles, vice president of technology for the Seahawks, Sounders and First & Goal. Alumnus Michael Dreyer, former chief information officer for Visa, Inc., will be master of ceremonies.

The event is hosted by the Department of Management, Information Systems and Entrepreneurship within the WSU College of Business and sponsored by Avista.
