April 6: Swing music, poetry inspire Paul Taylor 2 dancers

Aureole-200PULLMAN, Wash. – Paul Taylor 2, the touring troupe of New York dance choreographer Taylor, will perform at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 6, at Beasley Coliseum at Washington State University. Taylor’s repertoire is influenced by American history of the 1940s, swing music and poetry.

Tickets are free to WSU students with ID. For others, the cost is $14-$30.

Tickets can be purchased in advance through presenter Festival Dance & Performing Arts Association at 208-883-DANS (3267) or at TicketsWest outlets including http://www.TicketsWest.com, 800-325-SEAT (7328) and the Beasley Coliseum ticket office (open 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Friday). Same-day tickets may be purchased at the door.

Support for the performance comes from the WSU Student Entertainment Board. Sponsors are KLEW-TV, Moscow Hotel and Garden Lounge, Hilltop Inn, Northwest Public Radio and KQQQ. Support from granting agencies comes from Western States Arts Federation, Idaho Commission on the Arts and National Endowment for the Arts.
