PULLMAN, Wash. – An online survey recently was emailed to faculty and researchers at Washington State University to assess their participation in international partnerships and determine what’s needed to expand it.
Those who received the survey are asked to complete it online at http://www.opinion.wsu.edu/International/.
“This survey was designed to document and confirm the value of international collaborations to productivity of our faculty and researchers,” said Danna Moore, interim director of the WSU Social and Economic Sciences Research Center (SESRC).
“Through this tool,” she said, “we also would like to estimate the resources and understand the needs, obstacles and types of institutional support needed to foster more international research partnerships.”
This 20-minute survey is part of a project funded by the National Science Foundation and is intended to be adapted at other U.S. universities. Read more about the project here.
The survey was developed by WSU’s Office of Research, Office of International Programs, Office of Economic Development, Department of Mathematics and SESRC.
