PULLMAN, Wash. – Six community members who participated in the “2013 Tar Sands Healing Walk” in Alberta, Canada last summer will make a free, public presentation at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, in CUE 202. Audience discussion will follow.
Issues and questions about tar sands mining, crude oil processing, climate change, megaload transportation, pipeline projects, and cultural and environmental changes will be considered.
The presentation is hosted by the Associated Students of Washington State University Environmental Sustainability Alliance and WSU Environmental Science Club.
