WSU diabetes researchers seeking study participants

SPOKANE, Wash. – Volunteers with type 1 or type 2 diabetes or peripheral vascular disease are needed for clinical research trials under way at the Washington State University College of Pharmacy in Spokane.

Volunteers are seen at the clinic on campus and receive individualized care, education and, in some cases, access to medications. The time commitment required varies by the type of trial under way.

The research team is co-led by Spokane endocrinologist Carol H. Wysham, MD, and assistant professor Joshua Neumiller, PharmD, who is a licensed pharmacist and certified diabetes educator.
