PULLMAN, Wash. – Leadership training tailored to the needs of Washington State University faculty and staff will be offered in a day-long session Thursday, March 20, in the CUB junior ballroom. A few seats remain so the deadline to register has been extended to Friday, Feb. 7.
The “Lean Culture and Role of Leadership” training helps leaders provide greater value to customers, employees and stakeholders. It includes a research-based leadership development approach used by more than 3 million people around the world to improve their individual and collective abilities.
Among other training, participants will complete an assessment of their leadership behavior and develop a personal action plan for improvement based on the results.
Training cost is partly subsidized by the WSU Administrative Professional Advisory Council. Though offered by an outside agency, the training is tailored to the needs of WSU employees as determined through a recent “Lean Culture” survey.
The day of training costs $250. An option for additional training and other opportunities for a year costs $795. Find more information and register here.
