KENNEWICK, Wash. – Tri-Cities graduates of the Washington State University College of Nursing will be recognized at convocation, a special pinning and candlelight ceremony, at 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at Richland Baptist Church, 1632 George Washington Way, Richland.

Convocation is a thoughtful occasion where faculty, staff, medical professionals and students’ family members celebrate the hard work and special relationships of the fall 2013 graduating class. It is free to the public.

This group of graduates includes 20 earning the bachelor of science in nursing degree.

Speakers will include WSU Tri-Cities Chancellor H. Keith Moo-Young and nursing instructor Maria Castillo. Graduating senior Robert Nelson was nominated by his peers to speak on behalf of the students.

Convocation is sponsored by Kadlec Regional Medical Center.
