Nov. 13: Business leaders hear about online MBA

PHOENIX – Washington State University’s College of Business will hold a free, public networking event focusing on the online master of business administration (MBA) and Executive MBA programs 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, at the Scottsdale Marriott Old Town Hotel, 7325 E. 3rd Ave.

David Sprott, associate dean for graduate, international and professional programs, and Cheryl Oliver, assistant dean for online and graduate programs, will discuss business topics and aspects of the online MBA business programs, which are ranked No. 1 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report.

Attendees will be able to network with current, former and prospective MBA students. Jefferson Macias, a recent alumnus and supply chain manager for Intel in Chandler, Ariz., will give a presentation about his experience in the online MBA program.

The College of Business has offered the MBA degree for more than 55 years. The suite of MBA educational offerings includes the online MBA, the online Executive MBA, the Pullman 1-year MBA and the professional MBA at WSU Tri-Cities and WSU Vancouver.
