PULLMAN, Wash. – A free public continental breakfast, speakers and ceremony will begin at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 11, as Washington State University honors those who serve in the military on national Veterans Day.
The breakfast, in the CUB ballroom, will follow an 8 a.m. invitation-only sit-down breakfast for veterans and guests. Speakers at the public breakfast will include a student vet and member of WSU ROTC (reserve officer training corps) staff.
At about 10:30 a.m., the commemoration will move outdoors to the WSU veterans memorial for a flag ceremony and wreath laying.
Events are sponsored by the WSU student veterans committee and Associated Students of WSU.
