WSU Pullman natural gas leak repaired, area access restored

PULLMAN, Wash. – A leak in an underground natural gas line near Cleveland and Heald halls on the campus of Washington State University has been repaired, the area has been reopened and normal operations and scheduling have been restored.

The leak was reported at approximately 7:15 a.m. this morning after the line was struck by a construction crew working in the area. An emergency alert was issued shortly thereafter. A second alert announcing restoration of normal operations was issued at approximately 9:30 a.m.

No injuries were reported.
