my-voice-logo-80PULLMAN, Wash. – Social media is an effective, simple way for people to connect, but putting personal information on display can compromise reputations and safety. Do the risks outweigh the benefits? Can we use social media more wisely?

The Washington State University Center for Civic Engagement will host a public forum panel debate on this topic at noon Tuesday, Oct. 22, in Butch’s Den, CUB L60. Live streaming will be available starting at 11:50 a.m. at mms://windowsmedia.wsu.edu/event and chat at http://chatanywhere.wsu.edu.
