PULLMAN, Wash. – High school students, especially seniors, are invited to learn about the Gates Millennium Scholars Program for college funding, including application help, at 6:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, in Lighty Student Services 260 at Washington State University. 

The program selects 1,000 students annually to receive a good-through-graduation scholarship to use at any U.S. college or university.

To be eligible, students must be African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian/Pacific Islander American or Hispanic American; have a minimum 3.3 GPA; and meet federal Pell grant income and other eligibility.
