WSU’s online psychology program ranked third in nation

The Best School logoPULLMAN, Wash. – €”Washington State University’€™s online bachelor’€™s degree in psychology has been ranked third in the nation.

The award from TheBestSchools.org cited the WSU Department of Psychology’s accreditation, the Global Campus’ use of academic consultants to guide students, and the online program’s student government, which offers face-to-face student events.

Best Schools also mentioned WSU’s consistent ranking in the top tier of public schools both nationwide and across the globe. “The Times Higher Ed report named the institution as one of the best in the world,” the group said.

The honor follows several other recent national rankings for WSU’s online programs:

• First place for online graduate business programs  (http://omba.wsu.edu/) from U.S. News & World Report.
• Third place from TheBestSchools.org (http://bit.ly/1apdlKh) for the criminal justice bachelor’s degree.
• Sixth place for supporting the military (http://bit.ly/13pHuUq) from the 2012 Guide to Online Schools.
• Fourth place for the overall degree program from the SuperScholars (http://bit.ly/1fG93LF) website.
• Sixth place from U.S. News & World Report (http://bit.ly/18Iz88M) for student services and technology.
The online psychology degree is among eight undergraduate programs offered through WSU’s Global Campus (http://online.wsu.edu/). The online campus also offers eight master’s programs, as well as a variety of certificates, both credit and noncredit.
