During the Week of Welcome, the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships (OFAS) will host “how to” student workshops on the Pullman campus about the online appointment system called FinAid Scheduler. FinAid Scheduler is the new, exciting tool that allows students to make an in-person appointment to meet with a financial aid counselor by going to the OFAS website at www.finaid.wsu.edu. FinAid Scheduler went live about three weeks ago and the financial aid office has been serving students ever since using this online appointment system. FinAid Scheduler allows students to schedule financial aid visits around their busy schedules.
The Week of Welcome workshops will be held Tuesday, August 13, and Thursday, August 15, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. in Lighty Student Services, room 380. Counselor-led demonstrations and information will give students a chance to learn more about this new financial aid service as well as make an appointment if needed. There’ll be free refreshments and FinAid Scheduler giveaways for students who attend. No pre-registration is required. For more information, go to WWW.FINAID.WSU.EDU.
