Groups can register to recruit student volunteers

A conversation at last year’s Cougs Connect event.

PULLMAN, Wash. – Groups from Washington State University and the broader community are invited to host a table for free to recruit student volunteers at the Cougs Connect: Campus & Community Involvement Fair 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, outdoors on Library Road on the WSU campus.

Tables and electric outlets are available first come, first served so early registration is encouraged. Visit http://cce.wsu.edu/cougs-connect to learn more and to register. A free pizza lunch will be provided.

Hosted by WSU Student Involvement and the Center for Civic Engagement, the fair will celebrate the wide variety of ways students can get involved on campus and in the community. Registered student organizations, Greek groups, WSU units and community organizations looking to recruit new members or volunteers, promote their efforts or rally students to a cause may participate.
