PORT HADLOCK, Wash. – Washington State University Extension in Jefferson County is returning to the county seat of Port Townsend this week, after two decades at Port Hadlock.

WSU Jefferson County Extension will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2014; its new home, the Cupola House at historic Point Hudson in Port Townsend, will be an appropriate location to mark the centennial. Before Port Hadlock, the extension office was in the Customs House on Washington Street in Port Townsend.

WSU Extension considers the move an opportunity to engage with county and city of Port Townsend partners while maintaining a strong presence in the broader county community.

Extension faculty and staff will have the same phone numbers.  The new address is 380 Jefferson St., Port Townsend, WA 98368.
