Gap between poverty, literacy focus of public forum reflection

 
PULLMAN, Wash. – Using literacy to combat the cycle of poverty will be discussed in a public forum reflection session sponsored by the Washington State University Center for Civic Engagement 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, in CUB L45. It is part of WSU’s observance of National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week Nov. 10-16.
 
Faculty, staff and students are invited to share their perspectives about literacy development, how the cycles of poverty and illiteracy parallel one another and attainable solutions.
