Employee hurt in bike-bus accident welcomes cards

PULLMAN, Wash. – Ken Anderson, program coordinator in the Department of History, is recovering at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle following a bicycle accident on Nov. 18 on the WSU Pullman campus.
 
Anderson injured both of his legs when he collided with a Pullman Transit bus near the corner of Stadium Way and Wilson Road. Liz Dehlbom, office assistant in the history department, said Anderson suffered muscle tissue damage but no broken bones.
 
He has undergone several surgeries and several more are planned, she said, but he is in good spirits and would welcome cards and well wishes. Dehlbom said Anderson is expected to be in the hospital through Christmas.
