PULLMAN, Wash. – Rochelle Adams, a senior English major from Kent, Wash., has been named editor-in-chief of the Daily Evergreen for the spring 2012 semester.
She is the daughter of Sharon and Robert Adams.
Since fall 2009, Adams has worked as a reporter, copy editor, assistant news editor and news editor for the Daily Evergreen, the student-run newspaper on the Pullman campus of Washington State University.
She previously attended Highline Community College in Des Moines, Wash., where she worked on the student newspaper and the literary magazine.
Adams was chosen by the WSU Student Publications Board, which is made up of students, faculty and staff. It helps direct operational policies at the Daily Evergreen and the Chinook student yearbook.
