It’s official! The votes have been cast, the hanging chads reconciled, the election officials investigated, and the ballots counted and re-counted. We have a winner in the “Name-The-New-Cheese” contest at Ferdinand’s Ice Cream Shoppe!
Hundreds of votes were submitted and the margin of victory was slim. We are preparing to run another batch of the cheese made with tomato and oregano, and we wanted to include our customers in naming the cheese. The winning name is
We’re keeping that secret for now while we contact the person who submitted the winning name. They will win fabulous prizes and notoriety. The new cheese with the winning name will be available for sale on Valentine’s Day in February 2012. Our thanks to everyone who submitted names and to those who cast their ballots to select a name.
In the meantime, don’t forget to stock up on cheese for the holidays. If you’re leaving Pullman for Thanksgiving, this is a good time to purchase cheese for all occasions.
