Guatemala spring break applications due Dec. 9

PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University employees and students are invited to join the Palouse Habitat for Humanity spring break 2012 working trip to Jocotan, Guatemala.
 
It is coordinated by the WSU Center for Civic Engagement. Applications are due Dec. 9.
 
Participants will build a house for a family in need as well as visit Mayan ruins, tour local cultural locations and learn about Guatemala’s diverse ecosystem.
 
The cost is estimated at $1,800, including airfare. The trip will be March 10-18.
