U.S. – Pakistan Relations and the Media – TODAY at Noon!

The Foley Institute’s Coffee & Politics Series continues with co-sponsored event with the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication:

US-Pakistan Relations and the Role of the Media

How has the relationship between the United States and Pakistan been affected by the way that events in the region are portrayed in the media? Is the media in Pakistan biased? Do Americans receive an accurate picture of Pakistan’s role in the war on terrorism and its involvement in Afghanistan?

Join us to talk about these and other issues with a panel of media experts from Pakistan. Our panel will include Ms. Amna Gulus (Kohat University of Science and Technology), Mr. Pervez Khan (Kohat University of Science and Technology), Mr. Shujaat Ali Khan (Hazara University), and Dr. Altaf Ulah Khan (University of Peshawar).

Pizza, pop, and stimulating conversation will be provided – RSVP to relgar@wsu.edu   to ensure we have enough refreshments!
