Richardson will direct Upward Bound in two counties

SPOKANE, Wash. – Washington State University Spokane recently hired Claudine Richardson as director of Upward Bound for Ferry and Stevens counties.
 
Prior to coming to WSU, Richardson held a variety of positions at Eastern Washington University (EWU), including international admissions coordinator, assistant to the faculty fellow for diversity, teaching assistant for the department of biology and admissions advisor.
 
As a former TRiO and Ronald E. McNair scholar, she is devoted to providing leadership in preparing first-generation, low income and/or historically disadvantaged students for college.
 
Richardson is a graduate of EWU with a bachelor of science in biology, a bachelor of arts in modern languages (Spanish), a master of science in biology, a master of public administration and a graduate certificate in health services administration. She is attending Gonzaga University to attain her Ph.D.
