Dedication in memory of Lindsay Oaks

PULLMAN, Wash. – A short dedication ceremony in memory of J. Lindsay Oaks, a WSU microbiologist and researcher who died in January, will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, under the row of oak trees on Ott Road below (north of) the Veterinary Teaching Hospital.

Thanks to fundraising by the class of 2013 and donations from family and friends, the College of Veterinary Medicine will dedicate a bench and plaque in Oaks’ memory. He died at age 50 after being diagnosed with a rare neuroendocrine tumor in November 2010.
