PULLMAN – Faculty performance reviews, with a focus on tenure and promotion, will be the topic of a workshop 2:10-4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, in Pullman, via videoconference at other campuses and via videostream. Locations and other details are available at http://www.hrs.wsu.edu/tenure.
Conducted by Fran McSweeney, WSU Regents professor of psychology and vice provost for faculty affairs, the workshop is part of an effort to increase the transparency of faculty personnel policies.
The workshop will answer questions about all aspects of faculty performance reviews. Any faculty member who has an interest in these issues should attend, particularly those who are just beginning their careers at WSU or who will come up for an important evaluation soon.
