PULLMAN, Wash. – David Simon, co-creator of the HBO television series “The Wire” and recipient of this year’s William Julius Wilson Award for the Advancement of Social Justice from Washington State University, will be available for questions from members of the media at 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, in the Regents Room of the Lewis Alumni Centre.

Simon will accept the award at the free, public Wilson award symposium at 7 p.m. Thursday in the CUB auditorium. He will speak on the topic “The End of the American Century & What’s In It for You?”
