Ted Koppel to Speak at 37th Murrow Symposium Sept. 23

Join Ted Koppel, distinguished TV journalist and recipient of the 2011 Edward R. Murrow Lifetime Achievement Award, at the 37th Murrow Symposium, Friday, Sept. 23, at 7 p.m. in Beasley Performing Arts Coliseum, WSU Pullman.

An outspoken critic of modern U.S. media, Koppel will deliver his keynote address, “…and Murrow was worried back then!,” and will take questions from the audience. Now a news analyst for NPR and contributor to BBC America, Koppel worked at ABC for 42 years, including 26 years as anchor of “Nightline.”
