What better way to end the month of September and welcome October than spending time protecting our natural environment and then enjoying a relaxing soak at the Stanley Hot Springs?
This trip is a partnership between the Center for Civic Engagement and the Outdoor Recreation Center. Participants will be working with the Selway-Bitterroot Frank Church Wilderness foundation, to enhance and improve the five mile trail to Stanley Hot Springs. After a day of work on the trails participants will be treated to a warm soak in the hot springs and a chance to test their back country cooking skills and to learn from the ORC’s own Adventure Facilitators.
No experience is necessary and all needed camping equipment is provided. You must register by 9/25/2011 to participate, and hurry because space is limited! Register by visiting cce.wsu.edu/eco-adventures.
