David Simon to speak on Thursday

David Simon, co-creator of the HBO television series “The Wire,” which has been widely hailed for its insightful depiction of lives and issues in urban America, will be on the Pullman campus Sept. 22 to accept the William Julius Wilson Award for the Advancement of Social Justice.
Simon will address the award symposium in the CUB Auditorium at 7 p.m. in the CUB Auditorium on the topic “The End of the American Century & What’s In It for You?” The event is free and open to the public.
