Business networking offered with company representatives

PULLMAN, Wash. – Considering the challenging economy and bleak job market, stronger connections to employers are vital. Networking is an excellent strategy students may use when searching for a job.

Career Networking Night is an opportunity for business students to interact with company representatives prior to the WSU Career Expo. The event will be hosted by the Scott and Linda Carson Center for Professional Development 6-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3, in the CUB Senior Ballroom.

Representatives from 20 major companies will provide information regarding jobs and internships. The first 200 students will receive a free professional portfolio.
Students are encouraged to register for the event and to pick up a guidebook for successful networking from the Carson Center, located in Todd Hall 101, available Sept.19.
