Coffee and Politics Delayed 30 minutes

The Foley Institute’s Coffee & Politics Series today in CUE 518 has been delayed until 12:30. Washington State’s Attorney General Rob McKenna will be discussing Human Trafficking.

He is engaged in a nation-wide effort to combat human trafficking, “Pillars of Hope: Attorneys General United Against Human Trafficking.” Human trafficking is a $32 billion global industry, the fastest growing and second largest criminal activity in the world.

Join us for some lively discussion as he explains the problem of human trafficking in Washington State and across the country.

Rob McKenna is serving his second term as Washington’s 17th Attorney General. McKenna received his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School in 1988, where he was a member of the Law Review. He earned a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in International Studies, both with honors, from the University of Washington. McKenna is the 2011-2012 President of the National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG).
