PULLMAN, Wash. – The Fall 2011 Combined Fund Drive (CFD) Kickoff will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, in the Washington State University CUB Senior Ballroom. Local organizations will present their services in a short program followed by a community service fair 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
The CFD is a philanthropic giving program for Washington employees who wish to support local, national and international community organizations. It raises awareness of the opportunity for state employees to manage their charitable contributions through the program.
Last year, WSU employees pledged more than $175,000 to support 400 community organizations.
