VANCOUVER, Wash. The Chancellor’s Seminar Series will provide two opportunities to discuss timely topics and exchange ideas starting Sept. 30.
The annual series gathers students, faculty, staff, business leaders, elected officials and community members on campus for an in-depth conversation about a topic of current interest or concern.
On Sept. 30, Ed Guillery, pediatrician, Legacy Health, and Jane Lanigan, assistant professor, human development, WSU Vancouver, will discuss barriers to raising healthy-weight children.
On March 2, Arun Raha, chief economist for the State of Washington and executive director of the economic and revenue forecast council, will offer U.S. and state economic and revenue updates.
Both seminars will begin with networking at 11:45 a.m. Lunch and the presentations will begin at noon. The seminars will be held in Firstenburg Student Commons on the WSU Vancouver campus.
