Wellbeing is hosting an opportunity for women to improve their personal safety through the Women’s Self Defense and Personal Safety Complete Class on September 17 and 18. This class will include discussion on ways to avoid potentially harmful situations and reducing risk. Participants will learn basic punches and kicks as well as more advanced moves such as bear hug defense maneuvers. A full simulation will be included in this class. This workshop is a great opportunity for women to learn more about keeping themselves and others safe. The cost is $40 for Student Recreation Center members, $55 for non-members and registration closes September 13.
