Staff invited to learn how to learn via SkillSoft

 
PULLMAN, Wash. – With new demands placed upon employers and employees alike, training and professional development are more important than ever. A demonstration about how to access in-depth online training provided by WSU will be offered 1:30-3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, in Murrow 52.
 
Those wishing to participate from sites other than Pullman will need to contact Academic Media Services to request a site.
 
Along with hundreds of live trainings available to employees each year, WSU maintains more than 3,500 online courses and 15,000 online books through its contract with SkillSoft. The training is accessible to all employees 24/7.
 
David Schmidt, Human Resource Services, will highlight SkillSoft training topics and explain how to locate and access specific courses, books, simulations and managerial functions within the system.
