Students working on “research, scholarship, and creative activities” with a mentoring faculty member are eligible for Auvil Scholars Fellowships administered by the Undergraduate Research Program in the University College at WSU.

The Auvil awards were established by an estate gift from Grady and Lillie Auvil, Wenatchee tree-fruit entrepreneurs. Since 2007, more than 100 awards have been made. Awards range up to $1,000 per student.
