SEATTLE – Small to medium business enterprises looking to generate sales to new markets will benefit from a program offered Sept. 14-16 by the Washington Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and International Trade Alliance (ITA).
The seminar will deliver primary information and resources needed to understand how to export products or services. It will cover: how to find an international market and distribute a product, how to advertise and sell to a different culture, how to finance and make a profit, how to obtain certifications and learn about regulations, and how to get help through the process.
Participants will be matched with a mentor from a successful exporting company and will be introduced to the export services of the SBDC.
Pre-registration is required for the seminar, which will be in the 33rd floor conference room at Safeco Plaza, 1001 4th Ave., Seattle. Priority will be given to existing small to medium business enterprises.
