WSU alumni compete at world track and field championships

PULLMAN, Wash. – Three Washington State University alumni will compete at the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) Aug. 27 through Sept. 4 in Daegu, Korea.
The three WSU alumni competitors are:
• Jeshua Anderson, reigning USA intermediate hurdler champion, 2011 World University Games champion and four-time Pac-10 champion.
• Bernard Lagat, 2011 USA distance runner champion and American record-holder in 5k at 12:53.60, three-time Olympian with silver and bronze medals and 11-time All-American.
• Ebba Jungmark, 2008 NCAA indoor high jump champion while at WSU and third place champion at the 2011 European Indoor Championships.
